About Heath Adler

I am currently the marketing coordinator for Southeast Health Group in La Junta, CO. I am now doing what I was born to do, designing and marketing through creative designs in advertising and promotions. I create most of SHG's ads, videos, social media posts, printed outreach, as well as manage the promotional inventory, event registrations and co-planning events. I also produce shirt, sign and decal designs at SHG's social enterprise, T-shirt Palace, where we provide vocational education services. I was previously a correctional officer for 6 months. One year and 5 months prior to being a correctional officer, I was employed by the City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department. I produced most of the promotional items for the many departments/programs within the Parks and Rec. Department. I became quite proficient with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro through the designing of 3 seasonal program guides, forms (online & printable), promotional items, website design and updating, and so much more. Before that I was a small business owner and I made a go at the silk screening t-shirt and sign business. It went well until one of my partners fell ill. I was also still employed 40 hrs./week by the Pueblo Chieftain designing ads and creating artwork. I also output the paper as a backup foreman when needed. I work with Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Premiere Pro CC, Adobe Acrobat Pro & Distiller, Microsoft Office applications, Quark XPress, and various pre-press applications.
