I am an executive insurance leader bringing more than 30 years of experience across multiple aspects of the business – Underwriting, Industry Practices, Product, Claim and Strategy. I am a problem solver and collaborator. After all, this is a relationship business and sustaining strong partnerships is a must. As Vice President of Industry Practices/Consulting, I lead a team of experienced leaders charged with scoping and building new industry capabilities. I collaborate with our partners across a $9 billion Global Retail Services operation of Middle Market, Major Accounts and Specialty business units. Here, we build the industry, develop underwriting guidance, deploy to market and provide referral expertise across organization. We shape new industries within the firm to drive business growth in key sectors - manufacturing, construction, energy, public sector, services, retail, technology, healthcare and wholesale/distribution. Under my industry leadership at Travelers and Liberty, I have successfully deployed go-to-market specialization in Healthcare, Energy, Technology Risks and Education. These high margin industries historically yield high teens ROE and drove profitable growth in some of the fastest growing economic sectors. Having a unique blend of complex claim and underwriting leadership roles gives me a keen perspective on the challenges facing our clients.
