About Heather Albrecht

Helping students of all ages navigate a new and difficult task has always been my passion. What started as a grade school “playing teacher” with friends and family, has turned into a 18-year career of guiding all levels of learners to traverse the mathematical classroom waters as a full-time classroom teacher and collegiate professor. For all of my learners, I try to adapt to their needs through various teaching styles, but try to focus on coaching and facilitating instead of direct teaching at all times. However, with the transition to online and hybrid courses in the last few years, I have most recently applied my passion to lead mathematics faculty primarily through coaching in classroom best practices, as well as online course design and implementation. I am excited to illustrate new classroom technology and develop ways to implement materials to excite new learners and enhance the instructor’s own classroom success.
