About Heather Claycomb

I own and manage HMC, a public relations firm, which specialises in developing and implementing strategic communications plans for companies in a variety of industries. HMC is a social enterprise that donates all profits to my family charity, All Good Ventures which supports social enterprise start-ups. That means my clients not only receive great PR advice and support from my team. they are also partnering with HMC to 'do good.' I am a Fellow of the PR Institute of NZ and accredited in public relations (APR). I am also Board Chair of the PR Institute of NZ (PRINZ). My unique point of difference is that I can offer a strategic business approach to communications strategy - my MBA plus the variety of business experience I've had allows me to offer communications advice that fits alongside a company's strategic business objectives. I have significant experience in the dairy and ag industries, having started my PR journey in New Zealand on the Fonterra comms team (with BBG). However, HMC's clients span the breadth of industries from education to health & beauty, real estate, electricity, food, economic development and many not-for-profits.
