Creative Innovation Hub Manager | Lifelong Leader & Learner | Organiser of people and things As Creative Innovation Hub Manager at Canterbury Christ Church University, I lead initiatives that introduce and enhance the understanding of emerging, immersive, and creative technologies. My work supports students, colleagues, and external partners in exploring cutting-edge digital tools, fostering innovation, and developing future-ready skills that enhance employability. I have a background in Project Management within Higher Education (agile organisation, team leadership, budget management, reporting, presenting, working to legislation etc.) and in particular, fostering and maintaining successful relationships with external business stakeholders, encouraging their engagement with the HE sector. Prior to my university roles, I supported Newly Qualified Teachers working through induction process in both primary and secondary education settings, ensuring high standards in both their teaching and mentorship. My career began in the Early Years sector, managing day nurseries, ensuring the highest standards of care and education of our youngest learners. I am a firm believer in life-long learning and am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with individuals from birth to university age (including mature students) throughout my career. You're never to young, you're never too old and someone can always teach you something! Throughout my career, I’ve led and collaborated across diverse teams, gaining a rich toolkit of transferable skills and professional experience in areas including leadership, project management, administration, coaching, marketing and auditing. I bring a proactive, organised, and motivated approach to everything I do, always with a willingness to learn and with an eye on helping others succeed along the way.
