About Heather Cooper

With over 27 years of dedication to the salon and spa industry as well as the development of 2 business and leadership positions I am and will be a dedicated team member for any future business opportunity. I have 5 years of Operations and Management experience, leading a group of over 50 in the cosmetology industry. My role began with the need to oversee all projects to design, develop and facilitate with the opening of the Cincinnati location of The Salon Professional Academy, a Redlen focus cosmetology school. My day to day responsibilities would include student and staff training, ordering and budgets for daily and yearly needs, overseeing and contribute to curriculum and student success, facilitating yearly audits with the Department of Education for our title 4 funding. Hiring and training new staff, management of all daily activities, systems and also overseeing the second location in Lexington Kentucky. After 5 years I decided that to work toward building my own business and created Toolbox Studio, originally a travel business for bridal and formal makeup application and later became a brick and mortar full service salon. Now 8 years later and post covid I have down sized and feel I am ready to join a team again to aid in the community of other strong women. Over the last 6 years I have found a love of the outdoors, wilderness, backpacking and helping other women find out who they are after 40. I hope to find a new career that will allow me to not only continue my professional business contributions but also help other women in their personal journey into adventure and success.
