I advise a wide range of European, Asian and US clients on corporate real estate deals including acquisitions, developments, joint ventures and disposals. I also have a strong understanding of structuring private equity real estate and debt funds, including carried interest/co-investment arrangements. In addition I have experience of M&A deals including deal mechanics, due diligence, structuring, warranties/indemnities, the role of W&I insurance and management incentives. I advise on international structuring, the impact of the OECD and EU BEPS initiatives, diverted profits tax, managing reputational risk and indirect taxes. I advise a range of clients in the decentralised, cryptoassets and blockchain space. I also advise in relation to employment taxation. I am a member of Forsters' Sustainability Group and advise on tax aspects of ESG investments. I contribute to BPF tax working groups and am a member of the Stamp Tax Practitioners Group. Before joining Forsters, I led the London tax practice at King & Wood Mallesons for 10 years and was Co-Head of Tax for Europe and the Middle East there. I am CTA qualified.
