About Heather Crane

I have accepted a position as a Workers’ Compensation Supervisor with Cincinnati Insurance. I am super excited about the opportunity and can’t wait to get started on April 17th! I worked at Amazon for 2.5 years as a Disability & Leave Claims Manager (in Human Resources) where I handled many leave types for all states within the US. I also specialized on the Workers’ Compensation team where I assisted with many projects including training and also covering managers during their vacations/absences. Unfortunately, I was laid off along with 18K other Amazon corporate associates. Previously, I worked at Nationwide Insurance for 23+ years where I spent that time in different roles within Workers’ Compensation and Property & Casualty claims. My experience while mainly in Workers’ Compensation and Bodily Injury (in-house, field, unrepresented, represented and Medicare) also included material damage, litigation and commercial lines claims. I am extremely organized, fast-learning & hard-working. I love working independently while helping my teams common goal. I have worked the last 6 years remotely from my home (all my time with Amazon and the last 4 years with Nationwide) and comfortable in both environments or more ideally hybrid.
