About Heather Cynowa
I began my medical career in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. I had the opportunity to learn most areas of the hospital. I challenged the state of North Carolina for my LPN license and passed. I worked with a placement company and had the pleasure of learning and becoming proficient in Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Surgery. I completed my Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College in June 2001. I have earned proficiencies in the ED, Med/Surg, Mother-Baby, Immunizations, and Outpatient Clinic. I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May 2014 and Frontier Nursing University with a Masters of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner in February 2017. In December 2019, through Frontier Nursing University, I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I want to do more and give more to the patients that present for care. I want to be the difference in the patient's life.
