About Heather Delagran

I design learning experiences that bring together environmental education, Indigenous knowledge, and digital innovation. For me, education is not just about delivering content—it’s about creating spaces where students and educators can think critically, connect with their communities, and build a more sustainable future. With 15+ years in e-learning, curriculum design, and project leadership, I’ve designed and produced award-winning initiatives like Ocean School, an interactive platform that transforms how grades 5–12 explore the ocean through films, 360° experiences, simulations, and inquiry-based projects. Over the course of my career, I’ve created 150+ unique educational media assets, designed interdisciplinary and standards-aligned curricula, and built professional development programs that support teachers in bringing complex global issues into their classrooms. My work is deeply rooted in collaboration. I’ve partnered with Indigenous and remote communities to co-create culturally grounded learning resources, built cross-sector coalitions to advance equity-focused education, and led participatory research in multi-country initiatives on human rights and civic engagement. Whether through logic model development, community-centered evaluation, or teacher training, I focus on ensuring learning leads to measurable impact. I am committed to building partnerships that empower both educators and students to engage with the world in informed, equitable, and creative ways.
