About Heather Erven
Heather Erven completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. She also has her certification as Registered Natural Nutritionist, graduating from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Heather has a strong passion for sport and coaching. Her first love is cross country skiing. Heather coaches two groups of athletes at the Nakkertok Ski Club. She is responsible for the youngest group of four year old new skiers and also coaches the adventure skiers at eleven years old. Heather is so passionate about sharing the outdoor experience with these kids. She has competed in several races but most notably completed the half marathon in the Canadian Ski Marathon, completing a distance of 100km. In the off season, Heather is a triathlete. Currently she is training for Ironman Cozumel in 2016. Her dedication to training for these extreme endurance events shows how committed and invested she is when she is passionate about a goal.
