About Heather Fain

As COO, I’m responsible for driving operational results across all of Pushkin’s business lines including podcasts, audiobooks, and custom content. I play a key role in creating and implementing strategy across the company. I love solving problems to enable our content creators to make their best work. Much of my career has been spent in marketing and publicity, connecting great thought leaders and writers with the audiences who are eager for their content. I have have created corporate marketing strategies, built digital platforms from the ground up, and collaborated across company functions to help bring data-driven decisions to all areas of our business. Since entering a start-up company, I’ve embraced the people ops function, which has challenged me to see so many workplace issues from new points of view. I have deep experience working with novelists, doctors, journalists, historians, and writers of all stripes. I've created earned and paid media strategies for boldface names such as Malcolm Gladwell, Michael Lewis, Laurie Santos, Donna Tartt, Dr. Mark Hyman, Michael Connelly, J.K. Rowling, David Sedaris, and many more.
