About Heather Gauvin

I’m a graduate student at Merrimack College pursuing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a person-centered and holistic approach to my work. I’m passionate about supporting young adults, helping people navigate life transitions, and approaching counseling with an open and growth-oriented mindset. I recently began my clinical internship with Northeast Health Services, where I’m building on my foundational counseling skills through hands-on experience with clients. Previously, I served as the Graduate Fellow for Orientation and New Student Programs, an experience that strengthened my leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Nichols College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a minor in Business Administration. Above all, I’m committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
