About Heather Hill

I am a licensed funeral director serving families in the Raleigh and surround areas. I take pride in going the extra mile to assist and listen to our families. I hold dear the professional relationships I have built in the community. I also am a co sponsor for Death Cafe Raleigh. Our growing community supports the conversation surround death and why we need to do this. I advocate for choice in choosing funeral services. Whether green burial, traditional burial or cremation, I think the family should know all the choices, economically and spiritually that suits them best. I help manage our social media presence, and have a strong graphic design background as well as Photoshop. I feel this is an asset to our families when it comes to planning a funeral or memorial service. I can design unique prayer cards and memorial folders to capture meaning and remembrance. Having been through a major loss myself, I am in a unique position to guide families with extra care, a listening ear, as well as estate settlement and referrals for grief care. I was honored to be awarded one of eleven scholarships to be recognized at the NFDA’s Professional Women’s Conference in 2017 and recognized for my service and dedication to families.
