About Heather Lang

As the Manager, Training Clinical Systems and Informatics for Trillium Health Partners Epic system I lead a team of 7 credential trainers, 2 Principal Trainers and a Training Coordinators as we deliver quality curriculum to new hires, returning and transferring staff, redeployment staff and medical students. As a certified Epic Principal Trainer in Beaker I have developed curriculum and am responsible for conducting training for clinical and non-clinical end users in the Epic Systems applications under the direction of a Training Manager for the department of Laboratory Medicine and Genetics and Infection Prevention and Control. As a certified master beer sommelier and freelance writer I spends my time exploring, experiencing and learning all I can about beer so I can bring to you in the most comprehensive and interactive way. As an extensive writer and photographer I can easily be found spending every available minute at food and garden events taking copious amounts of pictures and sampling endless amounts of new and exciting food and then chronicling it at The Tasty Gardener. You can also venture into my kitchen where I could be developing recipes or trying out new products for a number of great companies or at my computer developing thoughtful and engaging content.
