About Heather Levy

I am a registered social worker with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Windsor. I have clinical experience working with older adults with complex physical and mental health challenges. I have provided intensive case management using the psychosocial rehabilitation approach with adults experiencing complex trauma, substance use, HIV, and mental health disorders. Additionally, I have acquired experience delivering the controlled act of psychotherapy to adults with concurrent disorders using DBT, CBT, psychodynamic, and IFS therapy modalities. I have developed my skills working with older adults facing complex health challenges, dementia, and end-of-life in hospital settings. I come from an extensive arts background, with knowledge of therapeutic applications of visual art, music, dance, and drama. I am a flexible, resourceful, thoughtful, and dependable worker, who can build rapport quickly with service users and team members alike.
