About Heather McManigal

I personally believe that computer science is one of the most gratifying fields I have studied, and I have a deep appreciation for it. This field allows an individual to create some of the most fascinating applications that can range from the a scientific study on genetic evolution to an artist's ability to collaborate with a sophisticated machine to produce beautiful imagery.I enjoy the ability to solve complex problems and create solutions that are simple, elegant, and maintainable. Coupled with this is the challenge to push my creativity to create delightful and easy to use GUI applications, which is one of the main aspects that drew me to the field of computer science to begin with. Though I respect and enjoy the varying fields that computer science can be applied to, my personal focus lies in software engineering, graphical user interface development, and web development.
