About Heather Moday

On paper I am an immunologist, allergist, Integrative and functional medicine physician. In action, I am an educator/consultant, published author, speaker, and researcher. I have spent the last 20 + years in medical practice as a specialist both in the conventional world and now in the groundbreaking field of functional medicine. I spend my days working with individuals virtually through my online medical practice. Helping individuals figure out the WHY of their health - not just the WHAT. My mission is to teach people how they can live healthier lives by harnessing their environment, food, movement, sleep patterns, mindset, and behaviors. My expertise is in using cutting-edge testing in nutrition, genetics, hormones and gut health, to help people with chronic diseases. My special interests are working in the field of brain/mood disorders, chronic stress, inflammation, aging, perimenopause/menopause, and gut dysfunction. I also love public speaking and consulting with organizations and companies on wellness brands and nutriceutical supplements. In addition, I am interested in providing educational opportunities to small and large companies interested in helping their employees become less stressed, more productive, healthier, and happier. When I am not geeking out on the newest medical and nutritional research or seeing clients via my virtual medical practice, I am running, playing with my doggies, and eating lots of plant-based foods.
