About Heather Newcomb

I’m a passionate educator and program strategist with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering impactful learning experiences for youth and communities. My background spans K–8 education, donor engagement, and nonprofit leadership, with a focus on curriculum development, instructional design, and strategic collaboration. Currently serving as a Regional Philanthropy Officer with the American Red Cross, I lead corporate engagement strategies that support mission-aligned initiatives. Previously, I managed donor recruitment and educational outreach across Northwest Indiana, earning top performance recognition. As a former K–8 teacher and ESL instructor, I bring a deep understanding of youth development, differentiated instruction, and inclusive learning environments. I’m also a certified health coach with a passion for personal growth and community wellness. I thrive in hybrid and collaborative environments and am always seeking opportunities to empower others through education, equity, and innovation.
