About Heather Padgett

Highly organized, self-motivated and passionate leader, with over 14 years of experience working in the K-12 environment. This includes over 3 years of management consulting, strategic planning, and government policy. Strong experience developing, implementing, and analyzing adult professional development programs for special education staff, teachers, and administrators in one of the largest public-school systems in the United States. Skilled in multi-tasking, data analysis, problem-solving, task analysis, communication and information sharing. I am detail-oriented and thrive working in a collaborative team environment. In addition to my professional experiences, I am also the older sibling of someone with Down Syndrome. Through both my professional and personal experiences I am able to offer a unique perspective as to how to best support people and programs related to special education.
