About Heather Payne

I have 20+ year global career with WPP's Data & Insights consulting organisation - Kantar. Based in Hong Kong, London, New York and Sydney, my career has been global and includes senior management roles such as CEO Asia Pacific, CMO Asia Pacific, Global Chief Client Officer, Australian MD & Global Board positions. I returned to Australia in 2019 and began to fulfill my dream to work in NFP. I worked for 14 months working as Program Director with CareerSeekers - an amazing not for profit social enterprise providing student and mid-career refugees and asylum seekers an inroad in to the professional Australian workforce. 2021 I was appointed as Non-Executive Director to the board of Asylum Seekers Centre, and Chair for Mission Australia's Surry Hills Neighbourhood Advisory Board. 2022 I joined Allegra Spender MP's team to assist with the federal election. Having won the seat of Wentworth I continue to work with Allegra Spender in her Constituent Liaison team focusing primarily on issues around refugees and people seeking asylum (volunteer). In 2020 I graduated from AICD Company Directors course.
