About Heather Pelletier

In the short time since obtaining my Bachelors Degree in criminal justice I have quickly moved up through the district court, worked four years as assistant to a Judge. The particular coursework in the schooling I have completed focused primarily on research and projects in the areas of criminal behavior, programs, and community. In the six years I worked at the district court I had been promoted or obtained a lateral transfer four times. I have researched, proposed, and help put in operation a problem solving speciality court called Community Outreach Court which partners with Mel Trotter Ministries, Dégagé, Heartside Ministries, Community Legal Services, and Heartside Neighborhood Collaboration Project. I have secured a position on the board of a non-profit that helps indigent have access to legal assistance and attorneys. As a result of my work with the Community Outreach Court and the strong relationships built there, I have transitioned to Mel Trotter Ministries as House Manager. I will be implementing systems in many different areas of the mission that improve the functions and support the overall mission and vision of Mel Trotter Ministry.
