I am now taking a career leave from my work within the Markets and Wholesale Policy department of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). I have worked on a variety of Markets Policy topics while at the FCA. In particular, during much of 2020, I was the Acting Manager of the Benchmarks Policy team, during which time I was closely involved in the announcements on the future of LIBOR. From 2015, and until the start of my career leave, I was a co-Chair of the BCBS/IOSCO Working Group for Margin Requirements. Before joining the FCA, I was in private practice in London as a derivatives partner/consultant at two international law firms. I have an LL.M. from Cambridge and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia. I have spoken at many conferences and provided contributions to various publications.
