About Heather Polzin

I'm a Product Owner with a unique blend of technical depth and strategic business insight, shaped by more than a decade working across software development, data analytics, and enterprise system transformation. I specialize in leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable reporting platforms, ERP-integrated solutions, and data-driven products that drive operational efficiency and business growth. Starting my career as a full-stack software engineer, I bring a deep appreciation for the technical side of product delivery, which helps me bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams. In my current role, I lead product strategy for analytics platforms supporting Supply Chain and Commercial Operations at Builders FirstSource. My focus: transforming complex business challenges into elegant, user-centered solutions that make data actionable and measurable. Key strengths include agile product ownership (SAFe), enterprise data integration (Power BI), and driving self-service BI adoption across organizations. Whether managing product roadmaps, building intuitive dashboards, or coordinating ERP migration strategies, I bring energy, empathy, and execution to every initiative.
