About Heather Scrooby

I am first and foremost a mother of two wonderful boys and wife to an amazing husband. Work wise I have experience as a Digital Marketer, Bookkeeper (including payroll), Business Analyst and Web Developer. This experience has provided me a wide range of interlinked skills. Teamwork is important to me and a critical element of success. A team that works well together can do incredible things. I love sharing my knowledge with others and learning from them in return. I firmly believe that every individual in a company plays an important role in that company's success, no matter what position they hold or experience they may have. I enjoy helping businesses run smoothly by improving or implementing processes and/or new sales channels (such as eCommerce). I have always been strong at bookkeeping and still love doing any accounting type functions. On the entrepreneurial front I have bought and managed a One-On-One Tuition company; started from scratch one of South Africa's first platforms selling eBooks utilizing On The Dot (OTD) APIs to provide a wide variety of eBooks to the South African market; and I have managed a startup software company. I adore animals and happen to be a qualified Dog Behaviourist. As a hobby I have written a few books.
