I'm a strategic communicator, published author, and campaign leader with over a decade of experience translating complex issues into messages that move people and policy. As Senior Advocacy Advisor at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, I lead public and internal communications that elevate healthcare advocacy across Alberta. I specialize in storytelling that drives results: from launching advocacy campaigns seen by millions, to coordinating legislative engagement, to writing messaging that resonates with families, donors, and decision-makers. My work spans public relations, grassroots organizing, crisis communication, and editorial leadership. I'm also the author of Missing From Me, which became an Amazon Bestseller within 24 hours, and I recently completed my debut children's book, Let’s Talk About Dinosaurs, set to launch in Fall 2025. I spent more than a decade at WestJet leading frontline teams and acting as a Special Assistance Lead during crisis events. That experience shaped how I communicate under pressure with empathy, clarity, and respect and continues to influence my approach to stakeholder relations and strategic messaging today. I previously served on the board of the Canadian Public Relations Society (Edmonton), holding roles as Secretary and Mentor Chair, where I helped support the next generation of PR professionals and advance best practices in communications leadership.
