About Heather Silvers

I tell people that I'm not like what they most often perceive an HR Manager to be. I've found over the last 10+ years that going to HR is like going to the Principals office. No not me, I'm a floor walking, hand shaking, follow up and follow through kind of girl. I am a solution finder, I will always try to find that balance in any industry environment so that the integrity of the company's policies are maintained, liability is protected and the associates from the floor up feel confident I am serving in their best interest. To me it's about understanding the process from the front door to the back door of a company, how else can you best represent those associates when they bring issues to your door? Most importantly, it's about respect, I believe in treating everyone the same from the Janitor to the CEO, we all have a very important role to play, and they all deserve the same level of focus and respect. People will forget about a lot of things, but they never forget how you make them feel. I think about that every time I have an interaction with someone. It has served me well.
