About Heather Strain

I am very passionate individual in everything I do. I love working with children with special needs but also have a love for encouraging others to build their self-esteem and confidence. In my profession I enjoy building people up to be their best self. I support and mentor children with special needs to help them become productive citizens in society. With working one on one with children and families, I help create treatment plans by collecting data on target/replacement behaviors and implementing behavior interventions. The goal is to transfer the skills to parents / caregivers seemlessly throughout our time together. My job is rewarding to see the individuals accept my training and knowledge; when I have successfully transferred skills to my client and their caregivers, my job has been fulfilled. Along with my career; I also have had an opportunity to teach skincare and glamour cosmetics to special needs pre teens and teenage individuals. I have shown them the importance of having a self care routine for success. By building them up, teaching them what is an entrepreneur, and coaching them along the way- I can pass on my passion of changing lives to each and every one of them. I believe everyone has a choice. What you decide to do with that choice is yours. I am here to encourage and show people, all things are possible if you are willing to work for it. My clients bring me joy by showing me every day it is a new day. You can achieve anything when you have an open mind. I breathe faith into anyone I work with. My cup becomes full when I see them have a small or big victory. The secret to success is to keep working and NEVER GIVE UP!
