About Heather Taylor

I strive to be a leader and team player in both my education and work. As a summer expectant graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Masters in Special Education and an emphasis on Academic and Behavior Supports, I am further expanding my skills. My work experience both at York/Adams Early Intervention and Pennsylvania State University provide me with the experience of working in the home with children and their families. At York/Adams Early Intervention, I assisted in determining eligibility for Early Intervention Services and tracked and monitored those services. I built my career as a Service Coordinator on maintaining quality, accurate, and timely documentation. I have had the opportunity on developing the Neurodevelopmental Clinic (NDC) along with Wellspan Pediatric Neurology. Through this opportunity, I have developed a lasting and positive relationship with the other NDC team members. At Pennsylvania State University, I conducted in-school assessments on kindergarten participants assessing for several academic skills. Together with my undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and work experience, I understand the importance of developing relationships with both the family and child to promote success.
