Background
About Heather W. Mintz
The Starz Program™ was created to help children to shine, one at a time. Committed to enriching lives, we strive to promote fitness which we believe improves self-esteem and overall well-being. The Starz Program provides the highest level of specialized instruction in the areas of dance, sports, cheerleading and fitness to children on site within schools and childcare centers. Our objective is that every child leave each class with more skills, knowledge and understanding than they had before. We promote health & wellness within the communities we serve, and take pride in knowing we offer convenience for busy families by bringing instructors on-site to their child's school. With childhood obesity in the United States doubling in the past 30 years, I believe it is essential we encourage children to participate in physical activities at an early age. Fitness education not only gives children early-age experience in various activities but can provide the foundation for building self-confidence and enjoying the long-term rewards of regular physical activity.
