After 38 years of teaching middle school math in Louisa, Charlottesville and Albemarle I retired in June 2012. My husband and I own Rockfish Gap Outfitters in Waynesboro, VA. We do love to play outdoors and hike the AT! I was on the Children and Youth Task force when it was first created with Mary Reese Then I was part of the Election Task Force ( I still struggle with the results of so much work being ignored by the city.) I then joined the Neighborhood Leadership Initiative. I recommend that experience for anyone in the city or the county that works with city government. Recently I was part of the Steering Committee for Celebrate 250. Currently I am on the Citizens Advisory Panel for the city Police department and First Night.
