I have more than ten years of work experience in Behavioral Health field. While in the military, I gained a plethora of knowledge regarding behavioral health care in the military. As the clinic manager, I was required to network and develop partnerships with entities and persons outside of my section in order to accomplish tasks and make daily operations run more smoothly. I also had the opportunity to be part of the planning and development of new behavioral health services both within the military and civilian sector. Since exiting the miltary,I have continued to serve our veterans at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Cape Fear Valley, by providing low cost or free behavioral health care to the veterans and family members in my community.
