Experienced Project Manager / Program Management Specialist. BIO: Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m passionate about welcoming visitors to my home town. After beginning my career in academia, I’ve now been a professional guide for +10 years, and have never been more IN LOVE my job! A true San Franciscan at heart, what gets me out of bed on foggy mornings (other than a very demanding terrier!) is fresh-roasted coffee and warm sourdough bread (a little California avocado doesn’t hurt either). I first came to guiding while managing Executive Programs at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Realizing that the University didn’t offer the caliber of campus visits that my visiting scholars, dignitaries and business professionals needed (and suffering through more than one "prospective freshman" tour), I designed one myself. Over time that evolved into leading corporate site visits and sightseeing excursions. After eight years connecting the higher-ed and business world, I made the leap to hospitality full-time. I can honestly say, I’m so grateful that this background has helped me be uniquely prepared to introduce sophisticated visitors to the area.
