About Hector Palacios

After years of experience in Computer Engineering and Project Management, I completed the transition into Full-Stack Web Development. Here, I am sharing a few important experiences along the way: In 2020: I completed a Web Development Diploma to complete my transition from previous stacks and refresh my knowledge as a software developer In 2019: I got the opportunity to work as a student advisor at Global University Systems. This was the perfect place to work in a multicultural Canadian team-focused environment. In 2014: I started a startup company which is still very successful. The company provide services related to Wireless and Structured Networks, Surveillance Systems, Servers and computer solutions. In 2013: I worked with CTI Engineering International Co, Lt (outsourcing company that works for the Japan International Cooperation Agency) as an Engineer and English Interpreter. In 2011: I joined Scan International, a partner of ERICSSON, a worldwide telecommunications company, where I got experience as a project manager and coordinated a large team. In 2006: I worked at AGANORSA, a food processing company. It was there where I got the chance to build and develop a complex accounting, payroll and human resources system. Between 2001 and 2005: I worked in 5 internships at IBW Communications; one of the biggest communication companies in Nicaragua as a software developer and customer-facing tech support.
