About Hector Ulloa

Thanks to my parents I came to acknowledge, from an early age, the importance of social equality and justice. Such ideals have been the guiding light for most decisions in my life. Since the beginning of my university years I have been an engaged human rights activist, specially interested in educational rights, with a solid background in leadership positions. Through my experience in activism and student politics I have acquired a vast experience in organizational development and activist training. This has been further complemented recently with a Master's degree in Philosophy in Public Administration. I consider my communication skills to be my strongest asset. I have participated in public events and media work ranging from televised one-on-one debates to public speeches in audiences of up to people. Additionally, I have planned and implemented a variety of workshops and seminars on several occasions. My academic background and real life experiences have sharpened my crisis management and negotiation skills. I can carry out efficient institutional, political, and international lobbying. Policy analysis and policy advocacy are also my strong suits. I take pride in being organized, meeting deadlines and excelling at time management. Thanks to my ability to learn and adapt quickly I can easily overcome any task-specific lack of knowledge or experience.
