About Heena Handa

I am Managing Partner of EDC Space an architectural and interior design consulting firm. Passionate about experiential design - Design Conceptualization Interior Architecture and Design Management are skills I have mastered over the years. With 34 years of experience in the industry and over 800 projects completed in India and internationally my specialization is in Hospitality and Commercial design. While I have had my share of the limelight having been interviewed by BBC the Economic Times several design magazines receiving the Priyadarshini Award for the Best Woman Entrepreneur in 2012 my best moments have been those where I have made a difference. As a member of the Advisory Council for TalentNomics I have had an opportunity to mentor organize strategize and impact women entrepreneurs. A member of BNI Gurgaon for 12 years I am currently Senior Director Consultant a role that gives me a lot of satisfaction as it directly impacts the success of 100's of members. I am also a DC Champion having been selected as one of 25 DCs on the global strategic advisory council. A wildlifer since age 12 I have worked on many wildlife and environmental conservation projects and have traveled photographed and lived in the upper reaches of the Ladakh & Kashmir Himalayas. During the lockdown we started a blogsite www.experientialleaders.com - interviews with unsung heroes people who have walked their talk - about their values and how they overcame their challenges.
