2024 - The adventure continues at DDO, teaching Secondary 3 POP course and CCQ. 2023-2024 Taught 175 students at DDO High school in Shannon, Quebec P.O.P.(Career Planning), Ethics & Religious Culture, & Contemporary World included project-based themes, dynamic student engagement, and professional development as I adapted to the complex challenges our youth face today. 2021-2023 School Principal at École Trilingue Vision Rive Sud and August 2020 - June 2022 Vice Principal. My main mandate was to ensure the security and well-being of students & staff. I upheld the school’s vision which is to adopt a learning attitude to grow and blossom as professionals in a learning community. My mandate was to support and offer assistance to our teaching staff in practical ways so that they could face with confidence and positivism the ever increasing challenges placed before them during the Covid-19 pandemic and post-pandemic. I lead the English speaking enthusiasm in our school and to encourage the efforts of students and staff who strived to speak English and Spanish on a daily basis as well as during extra-curricular activities. I lead the Mentor Program and provided PD sessions with new teachers. My professional strengths as a teacher are the ability to prepare, organize and effectively teach what students need to learn. I enjoy the challenge of teaching any age group, and I strive to find methods to make the learning experience a positive one for the students and myself.
