About Heidi Drake

ɪ ᴍʏ ᴊᴏʙ! No really. I have a say in how my company (#MSG) grows and “looks”. I have a voice and an impact as I proudly represent both women and the LGBTQ+ community as Senior Leader and a woman in the defense industry. We look for the best talent possible for a variety of programs which support our warfighters. I have accumulated over 20 years of experience in the corporate setting performing a variety of functions, after successfully transitioning from Law Enforcement. My personal and professional experiences have propelled me into my role today as Vice President of Technical Support Services. What are “Technical Support Services”? These are the vital functions of Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), Security, and programs which include Field Service Reps (FSRs) and Operators. I have a team who stands with me in support of these functions to keep each one running smoothly. Diversity is more than a buzz word; it is a key to success in both business and life. Transparency and candor, even when the message is difficult, leads to clear and open communication. Change is inevitable, so embrace it! In the words of my mentor, Tom Hall, “…flexibility is the key to longevity…”. I’ve concluded I am only as good as the people I surround myself with, therefore, I have an amazing team, wonderful supportive family, and loyal lifelong friends. Mission Solutions Group, Inc, founded in 2015, is a small business based in Charleston, SC. If you are a talented, hard-working individual that desires to contribute to programs that support the warfighter, help grow a small business, and become part of an amazing company culture, send me an invitation to connect!
