Experienced Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience of working in the pharmaceuticals and government sectors. Highly skilled in Oracle Database, Databases, Quality Assurance, and Documentum. I’m an accomplished engineering professional with a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering awarded by West Virginia University. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, I started as a Customer Service Representative with the WV State Tax Department in 1995. I’ve constantly pursued opportunities with increasing responsibility, that also required technical knowledge, throughout my career. My next position with the WV State Tax Department was as a Computer Audit Specialist. I helped design, develop and implement audit applications using VBA, Microsoft Access for 60+ end users. After the Computer Audit Specialist position, I was selected to work on a newly integrated tax system as a Programmer/Analyst. In this position, we used Visual Studio IDE to design, develop and deploy the.NET Framework solution. While working full-time as a Computer Audit Specialist, I enrolled in the WVU Software Engineering Masters program. I enjoyed learning about project management in addition to learning software development processes. My software engineering career started as a Programmer performing full-cycle software development for a Federal government client using Dreamweaver8/Cold Fusion MX7, SQL, XML and HTML. As a Senior Software Engineer for Mylan Inc. I honed my technical skills but also learned how to coordinate and resolve issues with internal and external customers, focused on the effective and quick restoration of business functionality. In my current role as a Senior Software Engineer with Fusion Technology I am contracted with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as the lead Test Engineer for a team comprised of 12 engineers.
