PROJECT MANAGEMENT : General day to day follow up on projects (Congresses, Seminars, Meetings, Events and Incentives) from the initial brief stage to the actual event " going live" phase : negotiation with suppliers, reservations, deadline planification, setting up of detailed budgets and their management, contract preparation, management of attendees to events, creation of programmes and general information to be distributed to attendees, onsite event management, event staff recrutement, post event invoicing and debrief. Lead Project Director for large events managing a team of 3-4 people. SALES OPERATIONS : Client sales trips (New and existing clients). Preparation and participation in Destination Familiarisation trips. Organisation and participation in punctual Sales Events organised for specific markets. Attendance and representation to major Business Tourism Trade Fairs. PROMOTION AND MARKETING : Implementation and follow up of strategies following a programme for sustainable tourism development for the city of Rio de Janeiro. Contacts with the local professional suppliers at destination and also with the French, German and English speaking network of Tourism Professionals (Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Incentive Houses, Communications Agencies and Trade Journalists) Participation in International Tourism Fairs. Preparation and Organisation of the 1st International Trade Fair organised for Trade Professionals in Rio de Janeiro.
