Department Manager for Development, Karrierehuset AS. I currently lead the Development Department at Karrierehuset AS, where I work alongside a passionate and skilled team to design services aimed at the corporate market. We are dedicated to creating tailored and innovative solutions that support organizations in their development, whether it’s related to career, leadership, restructuring, or organizational change. I'm certified in several tools that I actively use in processes involving individual guidance or group/topic-based sessions, including the Persolog Personality Profile and Resilience. Additionally, I have further education and hands-on experience with guidance methodologies such as Solution-Focused Approach (SFA), LØFT (Solution-Focused Work), and Marte Meo Guidance. This gives me the flexibility to adapt to different people and situations. Extensive Experience in Career Guidance and Development Processes. For over 20 years, I have worked with people undergoing change and development. As a career advisor at Karrierehuset, I have supported individuals, groups, and leaders in exploring and strengthening their professional potential. I strongly believe that people already possess many of the resources they need and sometimes, all it takes is a little help to recognize them. I focus on meeting people where they are and creating space for reflection, direction, and ownership of their own development. Background in Higher Education Before joining Karrierehuset, I worked as a career advisor at one of Norway's largest universities. There, I guided students from different backgrounds through both minor and major transitions, from choosing a field of study and internships to entering the workforce. This gave me valuable experience in supporting young adults at key decision points and deepened my understanding of the connection between education and working life. Education and Professional Foundation I hold a degree in Social Work and have completed postgraduate studies in Career Counseling at the master’s level from Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. This combination has given me a strong foundation for working with people in development and allows me to connect theory with practice—both in individual processes and in organizational work.
