About Heidi Konsela

I started my career as a Family Resources Specialist at Illinois Action for Children, a non-profit organization providing supplemental child care payments to low-income families. I was then promoted to Family Resources Coordinator and then Professional Development Generalist where I processed grant applications for professional development and accreditation for childcare providers. I loved being able to research and wanted to have a position where I was able to utilize my love for research and drafting documents while still exercising my excellent time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail. While still working full time, I enrolled in Loyola University to obtain my Paralegal Certificate, which I received May 2015. I then began my paralegal career at a boutique state planning firm in the loop. I am working to become an expert in my field and am looking to move to a larger firm where I can grow professionally and take on more responsibility.
