What is an empowered woman? To me, an empowered woman is comfortable in her skin, confident in her worth, and ready to embrace her best self and shine! My mom was a true badass. Though she was only allowed to go to college if she became a nurse or teacher, she earned a Master’s in Education and became fluent in five languages. She worked three jobs to help my dad start his business, yet never fully pursued her own dreams. In high school, I wanted to be an esthetician but was discouraged from that path.
