About Heidi Siuko

As the Global Process Owner for Financial Reporting at Valmet, a leading global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries, I am responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of the financial reporting processes across the organization. With over 10 years of experience in the machinery industry, I have developed a strong expertise in financial accounting, external audit, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and assurance. In my previous roles as the Administrative Managing Director for Neles Austria, Czech and Romania, and the Finance Manager at Neles Finland, I managed the financial operations, reporting, and audits of the regional entities, and contributed to the successful integration of Neles and Valmet. I also participated in the Naisjohtajien mentorointiohjelma, a mentoring program for female leaders, organized by the Finland Chamber of Commerce, where I gained valuable insights and skills on leadership, communication, and diversity. I am passionate about improving the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of the financial reporting processes, and empowering the financial reporting teams with the best practices and tools.
