About Heidi Timpano

As a person who has been involved with people from diverse backgrounds in various settings my aim is to always promote the well being and sense of values of all people and to assist them to fulfill their individual potential and to give my best in all I do. I have worked with DCAS as an intake office and worked with MY Aged Care system. I am now working with DES in the NDIS team as a Client Liaison Officer taking queries from NDSI planners, Support Coordinators, Prescribers, Assessors, Agencies, vendors and Clients about NDIS plans and equipment for clients. I have also done the Ability Seer NDIS support Coordination workshop. Having worked in the Disability and Aged Care sector for many years and also having a child with Spastic quadriplegia I have a great understanding of Clinicians, Therapists, equipment, living arrangements, fine motor skills and carer’s needs. Also being a Team leader in previous jobs my job entailed client and staff resolution and sorting out conflict and resolving them to an amicable satisfaction for all parties involved. I relished this part of the job as I taught other staff at work ways to help others in their situations
