About Heidi Traylor

Counselor/ IU Health Employee Assistance Program With over 19 years of service at IU Health, I bring deep clinical expertise and compassionate care to my role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I began my career in the fast-paced environment of the Methodist Emergency Room, where I spent 16 years supporting patients and families through crisis and acute care needs. For the past 3+ years, I’ve served as a counselor in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing therapeutic interventions to IU Health team members. My work includes individual and couples counseling, crisis intervention, assessments, and resource navigation. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I believe mental health is just as vital as physical health, and it is a privilege to serve the dedicated professionals who give so much of themselves to others.
