About Heidy Utami

Passionate Learning & Development Professional | Country Manager at International Internships | Intercultural Learning and Global Competence Specialist With over 10 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to advancing intercultural learning and global competence. Currently, I serve as the Country Manager for International Internships, where I oversee all aspects of our programs, including student placements and fostering partnerships with companies and organizations across Indonesia. My focus is on ensuring the delivery of meaningful and impactful internship experiences for all participants. In addition, I have successfully managed student exchange programs, designed and facilitated impactful training sessions and workshops, and led a team of over 50 volunteers across Indonesia. My work also includes organizing national and international events that promote intercultural understanding and global engagement. I spent 18 months in New York, collaborating with a diverse, multicultural team to develop a fully online intercultural and global competence training program. This innovative training, designed to enhance learners' skills in navigating cultural differences, is now widely adopted by organizations in around 60 countries. My passion lies in empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in a globally connected world through meaningful intercultural experiences and education.
