Heiko Dinger is a Principal Business Value Advisor at Atlassian helping the organization to build up Business Value Capabilities while helping customers to understand the financial implication of investing into Atlassian’s Tools. Heiko is a long-term Business Consultant in the IT Industry with over 30 years of experience in many different industries such as Financial Service, Automotive, Telecommunications and Public Sector. In his previous career, Heiko worked as Multi-Cloud Economist at VMware Global Inc. helping customers to have a sound financial basis for their business due diligence. Previously he worked as a Business Consultant with Micro Focus and was responsible for later topics in IT Delivery such as IoT, GDPR and IT4ITTM spanning the entire Micro Focus Software Portfolio. In this role he did support large multi-country and multi-geography opportunities with C-Level Engagements and Executive Advisory. Moreover, his area of responsibility covered the development and implementation of strategic consulting and marketing approaches in the "Value Management Approach”. In addition, he was given the lead responsibility for interns as well as the ownership of the entire Business Consulting Community. In the same role, he was heavily involved in aligning the Business Consulting activities across the globe, running worldwide alignment calls, publishing newsletters with key information and running face to face Business Consulting Community meetings to drive the world-wide community forward in order to align and harmonize processes and messaging around the globe. During the 30+ years working as Consultant in IT, he carried out consultancy work for different employers like Accenture, Compass Management Consulting and Mercury/HP/HPE/Micro Focus, with responsibilities spanning country level, regions like Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and world-wide as well as various industries like Telecommunication and Financial Services. During his tenure at various IT Companies, he gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of IT Delivery. He is ITIL Certified and worked with “The Open Group” in the “IT4IT Forum” to build the Reference Architecture.
