About Heitor Baldi

Graduated with a MBA from FGV, focusing on Financial, accounting and audit management. Over 10 years of experience in the accounting field, out of which three of them as an Auditor, having the chance of seeing accounting in a different perspective, analyzing controls, accounts and reviewing financial statements. During this period Heitor had the chance to audit several companies from multiple businesses such as TV, Engineering and Energy. 5 years as an Accounting Supervisor with the obligation of meeting with tax obligation deadlines, reporting timely to corporate, ensure that all the transaction are in alignment with IFRS and USGAAP standards and also being responsible for all the accounting audits (Internal and External). After spending most of my years with accounting, I've decided to take on a new role as Controller for Orpak system, where I would be responsible for not only accounting, but planning as well, this project lead me to a new opportunity within the restructuring process due to several acquisitions the company went through. This new position was in Argentina, which made me to not only to change countries but bring my whole family with me. There I worked as FP & A for GVR Latin Americ, helping the team on a integration between Orpak & GVR. After this experience, I came back to be Accounting Manager for GVR Brazil for another 5 months. As of today I'm Accounting Manager responsible not only for accounting but Finance and Tax as well. In the management field, I've performed in every companies the responsibility of handling a team, always stablishing goals, keeping track of the staff improvement and supervising the work performed. The goal has been always find ways of working that cuts through complexity. 5 years working with Oracle EBS (GL Module), implementing several improvements in order to optimize transcations coming from other modules (Inventory, Supply Chain, Treasury and so on). Had experience with Protheus in the Accounting module.
