About Helen Appleby
As a paramedic at East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) since 2016, I have provided high-quality prehospital care and emergency medicine to patients in various situations and settings. I have also developed and maintained my skills and knowledge through regular, continuous professional development and extended my role by completing training courses, such as the Award in Education and Training (AET) that I completed in March 2022.In addition to my frontline role, I am a practice educator for student paramedics, where I mentor, support, and continually assess them during their placements at EMAS.
